Professor Kroll’s The Finest Souls of Our Rivers and Alps: A High Tang Poetry Anthology is published in De Gruyter’s Library of Chinese Humanities series. It contains 230 poems by twenty-four different poets and was completed around 753, with poems in various lengths, forms, and styles. Like all books in the series it includes original Chinese texts on facing pages to the translations, along with an introduction and extensive notes.
