On Thursday, May 3, more than 3,000 graduating seniors celebrated the end of the spring semester — and for most, the end of college — during Grad Bash at the Koenig Alumni Center.
The stadium, originally called Colorado Stadium, was renamed Folsom Field after legendary CU football coach and law professor Frederick Folsom in 1944.
On April 19, Hasan Minhaj — comedian, actor, writer and The Daily Show senior correspondent — spoke to a packed and eager crowd in CU Boulder’s Macky Auditorium. The event was hosted by the student-run Cultural Events Board, which also brought U.S. Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman to campus the week earlier.
Once Upon a Time: Temporary Building No. 1 was originally designed as a teaching hospital for CU’s medical school and also served as an infirmary. During the 1918 Influenza epidemic, hospital staff provided care to the campus community and citizens of Boulder County.
With the end of the semester right around the corner, Norlin Library at CU is as busy as ever.
When it opened, Old Main included living quarters for the president and his family, plus classrooms, a library, laboratories and rooms for the building custodian and his family.
