MASP Participation Scholarship

MASP students who enter through PEAC earn a participation scholarship ($2,000/year) by fulfilling program requirements every semester, as described below.ÌýStudents entering as current CU students must complete program requirements and attend LINC before being eligible for the $2000/year participation scholarship.

Students participating in the BOUND Programs receive a one-year $2000 stipend in the first year.

All students on MASP scholarship or stipend funding agree to the following participation requirements:Ìý

  • Remain in full-time standing (12 credit hour minimum) every semester. Any exception will need administrative approval.
  • Achieve and maintain a minimum overall 3.0 GPA. If you do not maintain that GPA in each semester, you will be asked to develop an academic plan with your MASP faculty mentor and your scholarship may not be guaranteed.
  • Conduct significant research or an academic enrichment project while a CU student. (For example: an honors thesis, internship, study abroad, civic engagement project, laboratory experience or another project/program of equivalent scholarly rigor.)

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Required: Meet with your MASP faculty mentor
  • 16 points: All -Community Welcome Back Event (start of the semester).
  • 1 point per day (maximum 5 points per week): Office Attendance
  • 8 points per event: Community Event Attendance
  • 16 points: Lead/organize a community event
  • 16 points: All-Community End of the Semester Event /Graduation

You are expected to earn at least 100 points for full MASP participation.
