In a Registration Program?

Nondegree students, high school students, auditors, CU faculty and听staff using the tuition assistance benefit, and students taking classes through the Western Regional Graduate Program (WRGP) or intercampus enrollment follow different registration schedules.

When You Can听Add

You can add classes to your schedule during these times:

Your assigned enrollment dates
The schedule adjustment period (fall registration only)
The open enrollment period

Under special circumstances, you may be allowed to add a class after open enrollment ends with permission from the instructor and/or your department (requirements vary by department).

Please note:

Late adds are听typically only approved听if the听class has space available and you've been attending class regularly.
Late-added classes听may听affect your financial aid eligibility and听tuition and fee bill, and you will not receive COF funding for the class unless the registration delay was due to university error.

First, follow the steps to add classes听to your shopping cart. Once you've done that:

Log in to .
Click the cart icon on the upper right.
In the cart,听click "Continue to Enrollment."
If there are classes in your cart you don't want to add, untick the checkbox to the right of those classes.
When you're ready to register, click "Submit Registration."

If it worked, a "Registration Results" panel will confirm that the classes were added to your schedule.听If not, you'll听see an error message; read the description for details.

Using classic registration instead?

Log in to .
Click the cart icon on the upper right.
In the cart, click "Continue to Enrollment (Classic)."
If you land on a page telling you you've completed preregistration, click "Continue in Portal."
In the registration system, scroll down to the "CU Boulder Shopping Cart" section听and tick the checkbox next to each class you want to add.
Click "Add Selected Classes."
Confirm your selection(s), then click "Finish Enrolling."

If it worked, you'll see a confirmation听message. If it didn't, you'll see an error message; read the description for details.

Follow this link to听Buff Portal's听听(you may be prompted to log in).
Select "Enroll" to expand that section, then select听"Go to Enrollment."听This will log you in to CU Boulder Class Search.
If there are classes in your cart you don't want to add, untick the checkbox to the right of those classes.
When finished, click "Submit Registration."

If it worked, a "Registration Results" panel will confirm that the classes were added to your schedule.听If not, you'll听see an error message; read the description for details.

Using classic registration instead?
